So I've seen a ton of threads about the infamous kazoo.
I've also seen numerous DIY fixes for it.

I've come up with a super easy super quick way that requires little tools and prep.
    image.jpg
    All the necessary items.
No foam, no tape or adhesive. Just your lubricant of choice, your cutting utensil of choice and the infamous 1/4 outter diameter(OD) drip irrigation tubing. Got mine from lowes. 6dollars for 50ft.
    image.jpg
This fix will be applied solely to the interior/cab weather stripping. Unlike the other fixes where your're adhering it to the door strip, or cutting the weather stripping and sliding the tubing in. No cutting here.

    image.jpg
Pop off the floor door panel or whatever you want to call it by inserting fingers and pulling. You won't break anything so don't worry, give it a good tug till it literally pops off.

    image.jpg
    image.jpg
Grab the weather stripping as such, annotate mentally where the strip starts(generally it's the area that the cover went over, you have about half inch of play so it doesn't have to be 100% accurate. Mark it if you feel like it, I didn't.
    image.jpg
Start pulling it all off, go completely around the door. This part is super easy.

    image.jpg
When you get to the front of the door jamb, there's another plastic plate that will require removing, do the same as you did the bottom plate.
Just pop it off. 2 seconds max.
    image.jpg
The weather stripping has these holes on one side. Locate the holes, they run the length of the weather stripping.
    image.jpg
Insert the needle end of lubricant of your choice into said hole and spray for half a second.
I did a quick trigger pull for a fraction of a second and went every other hole.
The will lube it up so the 1/4 tubing slides in nicely.
    image.jpg
Insert your tubing into the recently my lubricated channel and begin feeding it the entire length of the weather stripping.
When when it reaches the end simply snip the running end of.

    That's it!
Pop the weather stripping back on, be sure to go around and give it a good beating on the edges. Replace the covers, ensure the pins are lined up and just bash them back on. Should give a good pop when seated correctly.

    Done.

Now the weather stripping is re-enforced and it looks clean.

Took me a total of 15 minutes to do all 4 doors and clean up.

Nice, I think I'll go with this method!

Great work and nice thorough post with no confusion what so ever.

I actually have more of a "Reed" noise than a whistle. I thought my issue was different so I never really looked at the different fixes posed on here. After looking at the TSB though it seems it might be same issue. The noise on mine is always along the driver side A pillar right near the grab bar.

Thanks OP for the write up. Seems cheap and easy.
