That is unfortunately a real problem that happens here when a new Member comes looking for help and then gets relentlessly attacked and then they never come back to tell how the issues were resolved. That is a shame because then we miss out on the resolution and a way to help other members with the same problems.

Not seeing the relentlessly attacked part here IMO. Thread had a mod in early, and some decent advice offered. OP was stalling in traffic- kinda urgent matter, correct? If it was me, I would be at the dealer opening a can of whoopass- OP decided to complain to the interwebs.
Anyone on this forum for any amount of time has probably seen much worse-this thread made it to 5 pages and still going- if you can call it that.

What I was only saying that in general, not specifically this Thread. There have been Threads where the White Knights were attacking so bad that they were demanding Photos, Videos, Paperwork, kinda surprised they didn't ask for a Stool Sample from the Owner. I was just pointing out that after having people treat them badly why would they ever come back to tell how the issue was resolved.

    ^ This.

While there have been some low post number members posting that their truck has problems, is a POS etc. (yes these could be people trolling) I think the "White Knights" need to chill out a bit.

Everyone on this forum started at 1 post and the "White Knights" (I would call them something else personally....) are not enforcers of a Tacomaworld clique that they have contrived in their mind.

Not everyone is a Tacoma expert or frankly know anything about how vehicles work (I know a few "blue collar" guys who know nothing about vehicles including their trucks - as long as it starts that's all they care about).

If you think about it, a person buys a new Tacoma and has a problem, goes to Google and gets directed to TacomaWorld. They join and obviously will only have 1 or 2 Posts and then receive a unwarm welcome from the White Knights.

What does that even mean? What is "it"?

Glad to see people with common sense have showed up and are capable of understanding the issue.

So those of us that have been following along don't have common sense? Maybe we should attempt (lots have been removed) to find some of the troll threads the 3rd gen section has been plague with.
