Hi all, New guy here from Reno NV. I just traded a 2015 tundra crewmax trd for a 2017 four door long bed trd offroad tacoma. I've only had it for a day, but have already performed my first mod. I call it the "forcefully remove factory mud guard mod." I dropped the drivers front wheel into a washed out rut and knocked it off. It is currently sitting in the bed of the truck, but I might see if I can reinstall it. I also tried out crawl control and had it almost send the truck down a steep sidehill in a muddy wash and lay the truck on its side. The mud wall was probably 3 inches from my mirror and I have no idea how I didn't scrape the side of the truck all up. It was an exciting first day with the new rig. I never fell in love with the tundra because it was so wide I couldn't get it down most of the trails I find in Nevada and when I could get it down them I only had one line. The tacomas narrow width gives we way more options. The factory locker option was also a big part of my decision. I look forward to learning a lot on here and hopefully contributing a bit as well.

Hey, welcome to a Taco, got mine a year ago. I worked in Carson City for 11 years, retired a year ago. Commuted on Mondays, returning home on Friday from the Quincy area.

Not much employment for me in Plumas County. I stayed with my late mom during the work week. Found my rent money stashed here and there in her place after she passed on. I stayed another two years, only paying taxes and utilities, so cheap rent. Racked up about 210,000 miles on my old 93 toy, 07 Civic and a few thousand on the new truck by the time I retired. Then had numerous trips to work on mom's place to sell it, which sold in two days.
