Do any of you guys have 30% tint on your trucks? Star windshield does free tinting with windshield replacement but it's 30% front and 20% back. Anything lower is $50. Basically is $50 worth 20% on both my front windows? Because I'm not sure 30% is dark enough.

Hmm. I honestly probably won't go lower than 20% at all. I would love it during the day but hate it at night. My vision sucks as it is. So I'd be paying $50 to go lower up front. Which I guess $50 for essentially a whole tinted truck isn't bad.

honestly, I think it largely depends too on the quality of the tint that the installer is using. I had 5 all around in my old jeep and 1st gen taco and it sucked at night. went to a high end shop in Scottsdale for the Tacoma and it was perfect. no issues with sight at night, it almost felt like it wasn't tinted at night (except no one could see in). just food for thought.

that's good to know tho. the ferd needs a new windshield

Well it looks like I'm getting in on this icon coilover group buy and I figure I might as well install extended brake lines on the front at the same time. The best deal I'm seeing after a quick search are the wheelers ones for $58. Any other suggestions?

Was it you that sent Tiff to someone to get her windows tinted on the 4 Runner? I can't remember who did it, but he did an awesome job.

That's a bad ass looking suspension but I just need coilovers. Extended length and a smoother ride for under a grand will do just fine for me.

Well Jamie and Stefen both used star, and neither one of those dudes buy anything less than quality so I trust it. I think 20% all around would be nice and it would match pretty good. I would hate to have dark in the back and lighter fronts.

My windows are 15 front and limo rear. Ceramic tint. And ihave to roll the windows down to backup when 4 wheeling at night.... I used to do limo all over which was awesome in the day time but hard at night..but if you ever wheel at night you will appreciate the 30% even more than just when in parking lots etc..

That's where I'm at. 30 is gonna be amazing compared to nothing that I currently have. But I'm afraid the 30 isn't gonna be enough.

I hardly ever wheel at night. But once Aarons done with my roof rack, I have a badass little 10" light bar going in the back for reverse and camping. So that's not an issue. Plus being a 4runner I have the back window that rolls down.
