I am replacing my rear right bearing. I took the axle and bearing to a friend to see if he could press out the old bearing and press the new one in. While trying to press it the back braking plate got bent and the inside of the outer lip is cut in a couple places. If I straighten the plate out will it still be good to use again? Does the cuts in the outter lip matter that much?
This part is hard to find around here and I already have the new bearing on.
