I'd completely black out the flat bed. I think it would look awesome if the whole thing was black with the silver truck. Looks sweet man good fab work

Pro tip... On this back nut.... Drop it down into the cavern behind the engine... Gives you time to make another drink and contemplate your decisions:D

Decided to try the BOSS rears. I think I gained 3/4 of an inch of droop over the OME. I have zero complaints for the OME. They lasted 60k just thought I'd try something different.

I hate to say it but it's a cheap ass hanneman fiberglass hood. It was a huge PIA to try and fit it to the truck. The hoods they make are sub par at best. if i could do it over again i would buy another stock hood and have a real metal hood scoop grafted onto the new hood and painted. I got it because it was cheap, light and my old hood had some bondo from the PO hitting something and doing a cheap ass fix to it and it started cracking. At least there are inserts molded into it so it connects to the hinges normally but no latch assembly. It has a lot of down sides but it's cheap. what can you say.

Pro tip number 2.... Depressurize the fuel rail before pulling the rail and injectors... Or it vents when you pull the rail:eek::D. Luckily I already had a towel in place and caught my mistake quickly. Reflexes still on point:rofl: is there a write-up out there?!? Sorry for cluttering the thread tonight, but hopefully I'm helping someone... I miss my Corvettes and easily accessible fuel rails haha.

New struts and shocks, replaced tie rods and lower ball joints. My pass side obj castle nut wasn't even torqued down and the joint wasn't seated! Once I removed the cotter pin I was able to remove the castle nut completely by hand and the knuckle just swung free, definitely not a good feeling!

May have to do a proper write up when I swap the injectors so others can learn from my mistakes.. err... oversights :D As always, a big thank you to TW for the help and previous threads that loosely guided me :amen:

You all are reminding me I need to sell the aluminum one that came with my taco. I can't afford the space loss for dump runs or brew days.
