Defroster Vent

Does anyone know if you can remove the defroster vent without taking out the whole dash? I have a rattle that I want to try to pin down and solve without going to the dealer. Thanks!

 

I would take it to the dealer, if you crack, break, scratch , fuck something up, its going to be your fault, let them deal with it. I just wouldnt take the chance.

 

As said before might be best to let the dealer do it. Plastic tabs break easy and then you have more rattles.

 

Does anyone know if it removes though? I don't want to go there only to sit there for 2 hours and then hear that they have to pull the whole dash.

 

Sorry man, couldnt tell ya, even if it does, 2 hours sitting is better than looking at a fucked up dash for a lifetime....take it to the dealer.

 

This made me chuckle...So fuckin' true.. and you know something will break or fall somewhere that cannot be reached.
