Your truck looks great. What are the details on the lift and tire size?

    all tore up already
The most baffling one to me is the lack of a cargo light in ac trucks. We chose a smaller cab for a more usable bed. So punish us and take out the cargo light and give it to the trucks that care more about doors and backseats? Who thought that was logical?

X2 and 100% agree. A 4 door car with a wheel barrow on the back gets all the attention lol

I pulled the trigger on a white AC TRD Off Road 4x4. Love the truck. I used to own a 2005 DC. Where is a good shop in Arizona to have some Bilstein 5100's installed up front to level the truck? I want to run some pizza cutter tires on the factory wheels.

Stopped by the local Toyota dealership on my lunch break to get a Tacoma brochure out of curiosity. They had one left over 2016 Tacoma which was an AC Sport MT and it was in the showroom. I took my wife and daughter with me a few days later to check it out. Loved it during the test drive, and my 5 year old daughter really liked the jump seat in the back. I like the look of the AC more than the DC, and wanted a long bed and a manual. I really like the look of regular cab pickups the best, but that isn't an option. Our primary family car is a 2016 CR-V, so we take that on extended trips. I'm sure my daughter will eventually grow out of being a fan of the rear jump seat, but that shouldn't be for years to come.

Would anyone be so kind to post some pics of the backseat of an access cab? Also, besides no sun roof or sliding back window, is there anything else really missing from a tech package vs the JBL package on a Double Cab?

If you are supplying your own parts I can recommend a shop. If you are planning on doing it all through the shop, then I can not help as much.

I can go either way. I am just looking to bring the front up an inch or possibly level to run some 255/85R16 on stock wheels. Gonna leave the rear alone. I know some guys are running the same size tire with no lift.

Actually I remember now that 4 Wheelers Supply in Phoenix was pretty helpful and had given me reasonable quotes in the past--talk to Bishop if he's in... I ended up doing the work myself. If you get up the balls to try yourself, see the write-up in my sig below. Also read up on the ECGS Bushing replacement for the shitty Toyota Needle bearing on the front driver side CV Axle.

If you're just doing the front you could go with 6112s and get a MUCH better ride but yeah it will cost you a few hundred bucks more for the parts... $700 or so for just 6112s with coilovers, but they're adjustable and quite a step up from stock..

Call Headstrong Offroad and Wheelers Offroad and visit their websites, price stuff out....Send me a PM if you want to talk about it more and I can try to help you out more personally.

I'm sure you are aware but you do still get a sliding rear window, it's just not electric.

You just don't see many AC cabs on the 3rd gens! I love mine. Don't have a wife or kids, perfect for grocery getting and off roading! Shorter wheel base, less weight. Fell in love with it the night I saw it on the lot:) 20170528_001044.jpg
