Looking to buy LCAs. Ideally with new bushings and what not already installed. Located in Philly.

not TOO urgent, but I have a lift waiting to go on my truck. This was a wrench in the plans that I didn't realize until the other day. Once the weather gets a little better in Philly, I am going to plan a garage day with a couple guys here.

shipping from Canada would be a bit much though, no?

Yup it would be pricy. I live on the border of Minnesota tho so I ship to and from there.

As an estimate, I just paid 250 to ship a box 58x38x12 so it'll be cheaper than that. Plus it was from Mississippi. Weight doesn't matter too much.

I have a set of rebuildable ones. My cams were frozen so I cut the bolts out. Ball joints only had 40k or so on them. If you aren't in too much of a hurry I have the set in my truck I am swapping out for dirt kings once all my parts arrive. That was a set I rebuilt with new bushings and moog joints. They have about 35k on them not any hard wheeling. I grease the BJ every oil change.

Where are you located? How much are you looking to get for the ones off the truck shipped to 19146? (or 18428 if that's cheaper)

How about price for the ones on the truck? I'm not sure how much it would cost me to rebuild the one set and I'm not sure I want to deal with that! How long until you swap off the ones on the truck?

The uniballs offer more strength and articulation but require a lot of maintenance if you run them through the mud or live in a place where they salt the roads.

Rebuilding the arms isn't too bad if you have right tools, press, torches etc. In all honesty, not to talk you out of some sort of deal on mine, but you can buy brand new after market lower control arms for $100 give or take from the auto parts store or online. Mevotech and moog both make them as do others. The factory control arms can be had online for about $250 each.

thanks for that info! i have been reading about LCAs a bit on here. it seems people would rather stick with the OEM parts. they think they moog or mevotech arent as good. I dont have any experience with either brand, but I know moog is a well known name. I don't have those types of tools at my disposal. i might be going the new aftermarket route. haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning that way.

I would concur that the OEM arms are probably better quality, if nothing else, the ball joints are. I don't really have much experience with them. There are some threads where guys have gone that way but haven't seen much for follow ups. Who knows, probably 100k before they replaced them.
