I have been shopping for a while for a Tacoma truck to replace my worn out Nissan Frontier. TacomaWorld has been a great educational resource - but in my case it gave me even more.
It seems every truck that fit the bill for me was 200+ miles away - Texas or Alabama for some reason - and before I got to it, it was scooped up. It looked like I was going to have to buy virtually sight unseen - or drive 200 miles with a good chance of being disappointed and turning around when I got there.
    Enter member @Overkill07.
I found a truck that looked interesting over in his part of the world and pm'd him for input on the dealer - he instead took it upon himself to go to the dealer - and had them put the thing up on the rack! - and took pictures!! - and sent me a detailed report on what he thought of the vehicle and its Carfax!!! Armed with his on-scene intellligence, I was able to confidently take a one-way rental to the dealer, from which I drove home the beauty pictured above. He even walked me through a drive-home panic when the "maint. reqd." light came on - turns out it had not been reset at the recent oil change.
The truck is very clean inside outside and under the hood - 55k miles.

    Thank you, Warren -
