I mounted a mini Halligan with the ol' neodymium magnet behind the taillight trick, and I also stuck on a bunch of helmet tets to the bed.

We took Schnebly Hill Rd from Flagstaff to Sedona. Amazing views the whole way! Very rough road but was able to stay in 2 wheel drive. 20170412_125728.jpg 20170412_130017.jpg 20170412_131001.jpg 20170412_134350.jpg 20170412_221534.jpg
I think I may have finally killed the stock tires. I noticed some small lumps in the my rear sidewalls while airing back up. I may just have to order some new meats very soon:headbang:. Sliders Should be done any day and 700lb springs should also be here very soon!

It's pretty strong. It'll hold my .44 mag redhawk which is fairly heavy lol

I had to upgrade the tacticool magnet to the MagDog. The original one had a 25lb pull force which sounds like plenty of strength but just didnt work out as the weight of the loaded magazine kept causing the pistol to rotate when going over bumps. The MagDog had 48lbs of holding strength and works perfectly. I also adjusted the angle of the magnet this time to allow for better driving and weapon drawing ergonomics. I kept the old magnet to hold spare magazines, flashlights, knives, barbie dolls or whatever.

Easily holds my Steyer L9 which is actually slightly heavier than my Glock 21.

So it would be a safe bet for me to go on ahead and pull the trigger on the caliraisedled pods and light bar I been looking at? You rep a bunch of their gear. Worth it?

I've had them on for about a year now and they have been very reliable and extremely bright. I'd definitely recommend them.

They have a good product! Auxbeam also makes some affordable and EXTREMELY bright round led pods depending on what your looking to do.

    *Gigahorse build updates*

Sliders should go on this Monday:D:thumbsup:. Were also gonna test fit Avid' s 3rd gen bumper gaurd! To clarify a version with relocation mounts for backup sensors. I'm hoping all of the BSM and all backup sensors work since this will look great with my overall build . :fingerscrossed:

I may have signed up for the snorkel group buy...

Im still waiting for 700lb springs to come in. This is also holding up tires at the moment since I'd like to coordinate having them mounted and having the alignment done.

Sliders went on this morning. @brandonaz and his team at Avid Off Road took care of the work. I'm really happy with the outcome!! It'll also be nice to have some real protection. These things look like they could take T-bone hit from a tractor!
    20170508_132304.jpg 20170508_132231.jpg 20170508_131851.jpg
They also did some measuring for sensor relocation brackets for the rear bumper guard. I'll get to be the guinea pig for the new bumper guard with sensor relocation so needless to say I'm really looking forward to it!! here's how the 2nd gen version looks.

Just another thank you to the team at Avid! Super nice group and pleasure to do business with!

Camped out at Marshall lake and hoping to check out the overland expo tomorrow. We're definitely more " glampers" but still managed to find secluded place to drop the trailer...And get hardcore on a medium sized rock lol. Also using the winch to secure Gunner... or newly adopted min pin lol.20170512_141520.jpg 20170512_141453.jpg 20170512_141602.jpg 20170512_143321.jpg

The expo was pretty sweet! The Tacoma was defintly the most popular rig out there and we got to see allot of great gear.

A few of my favorite rigs.
Couch offroad builds the most bad ass Cummins powered unimogs out there! It was definitely cool to see one in person

My favorite rig at the show. The Earth Roamer. Amazing build quality, tech, engineering and luxury.

ARB tacoma. Not a big fan of the armor but I thought the fender protectors are interesting.

I know! I love our setup and it works out great for us but things would probably be a little BIGGER if I had and extra 750K just laying around. That earth roamer was rocking planetary hubs, ctis, lockers, height adjustable air suspension and king shocks. Oh it's also a motor home:drool::drool:

earth roamers are always fun to drool over. So expensive though! Maybe one day. Lots of cool stuff there, and I maaaaayyy have come home with a few things.

Yeah we'll have to see what my retirement accounts look like in twenty years. Until then I'm not spending more on something that that has wheels than I do I my mortgage...

The expo was definately a great place to spend money. After a couple of margaritas I had to hand over the wallet before walking through the venders. I was about to get reckless . I do believe I'll be changing my ditch lighting after seeing some great LEDs, as long as it fits with the snorkel....And again pretty stoked about that kickstarter deal!
