    I didn't know about the valet key. Thanks!

    If you switch the chip from your extra fob, you should be able to simply have the key cut - no programming should be required.

    Just tried switching chip. The chips are in the black plastic on the keys not in the fob. On the flip key fob it's in the small hole in the inside end of the key 1/2 of the fob. I don't want to trash a chip key so it's a no-go. Oh well.....

    Sorry, Phil, I should have said switch the chip from your extra KEY. (Since I'm using the all-in-one flip-key, I think of them interchangeably.) Chips are definitely in the KEYs, not the FOBs, unless you're using an all-in-one.

    Got my Flip Key cut and programmed today at a local locksmith for $22, awesome price! My Dealer wanted $105. Used the instructions you linked to in post #35 to program Fob, worked perfect first time. Couldn't be happier!

    Final update: I got techstream running on a windows 7 laptop, the cable connected to the truck, red light on the cable went on, but it still wouldn't work. I gave up and went to the Toyota dealership and they programed the key for $58.00. I finally got my refund from VTSM.
    So totals: techstream (not returned) $23.98
    G key $16.54
    Fob:$19.95
    Programming: $58.00
    Total:$118.47
    So I saved about 50% from the dealer's quote.

    I have the cable and software but when I plug the cable in all the warning lights on the dash board start blinking? Is this normal or is my cable bad? Thanks.

    Not sure what it means, but mine did not that, so I don't think it's normal.
