Correct, I have been thinking about something similar for the tent tho.
It wont stop theft but maybe it will make a thief look for an easier target

Yeah that makes sense. I was thinking about doing something like that until I insured it hah. Like $10 extra a year or something like that

You guys ship these things out to northern Virginia? I tried to put in my zip for a shipping estimate, but it automatically selected Local Pickup.

Our all new universal mounting plates (Note shown on a full size rack) We're streamlining the racks and giving you more mounting options.
They have mounting locations for two or one rotopax mount, or you could run two sets of quick fist or a Hi-Lift jack. They are clean and simple and you can more your gear around for the trip your planing.

We also have a XL version that I'll be showing soon with Maxtrax mounting as well.

What's the lead time on these? And I echo the other member's comments....what's a rough guess on shipping ranges? I'm in Dallas looking to get one of these for my new tent that should be on the way soon!

Were about 6 weeks from starting another batch maybe longer. The last one just sold last week. Freight to TX would be about 160 to 175 to your house and the 150 range to a business or will call.

Good to know. And you said 6 weeks till starting another batch, how long till those start shipping?
PS: I tried calling the number posted at the top of this forum (and on the website) but it didn't seem to be working.

Yes we won't be starting to build another batch for 6 weeks but we can build about 10 of them in a day. Depending on the options the ship at soon as next day when we have them in stock.

Yeah I'm not sure what's going on with the phones today but I'll tell you this I'm a lot more productive today :D

Haha, sounds like last week when I forgot my phone was on "Do-Not Disturb" during the work day!
One last question. How much do these weigh? And would it be possible to ship this to my Line-X guy directly for coating so I can just pick it up from him when it's finished?

About 65lbs with no options added. And yes we can send it right too them just let them know not to lay it on too thick on the mounting flanges they are a perfect fit with powder coat and LineX is much thicker.

Got my rack and tent installed over the weekend. Really happy with it. Love the hight. Still have great rear visibility. The new accessory mount is great. Going to mount my CO2 cylinder on the inside one.

Any chance you guys are going to start turning out Maxtrax mounts for those of us that have the bed racks with the old mounting plates?

We have the XL universal mounts that we just put on the @TRON_ Tundra rack but I've yet to try them on a low profile rack yet to see if they clear a tent.
