so what are the pros/cons to doing this to a 2.7l I-4 engine? mine is automatic transmission. thanks.

Con- you prob void your engine warranty. Maybe. They have to prove your mod caused the issue you're having if any. They can't blame an ac problem on a header but they can blame a piston problem for example.

Pros- better mpg, acceleration, and performance

$450 on their website

Mines a 2016 and I installed it myself at 10k miles still under warranty with little mechanical experience. They have a 13 min video step by step. It's a Toyota and you have toyotas most reliable engine so warranty wasn't my main concern.

 

does the fact that I have an automatic transmission make my capabilities any less (except for off road stuff)?
also, would doing this be okay with auto transmission? thanks friend.

Also that header may not be legal in your state. Not sure where you live.

 

Mines an automatic and as others stated the auto is gutless I honestly felt like I made a mistake when I purchased the 4 cylinder because I came from a 6 cylinder sports car. I couldn't understand why my truck was so slow. The header, afe filter, and flow master made a huge difference in performance. What the header does is help the engine breathe so it's actually good for your engine.

 

That is true if you live in California it won't be legal, not because it won't pass emissions test but because the company didn't find it profitable to spend the money on registering the header. I've heard some guys here in california still installed it and changed to stock to do their emissions test and reinstall the header after lol

 

The long block is currently at LCE gettin the works done to it.

There will be a production turbo kits that comes out of this as well
