Trying to install a ********* EZQ using their harness and I'm hitting problems. The harness plugs into the factory head unit, then back to the existing harness and at that point it also splits off 11wires to run the EZQ. No sweat. But now that it has reconnected to the speakers via the harness, where do I connect my amp output for door speakers. Anywhere I splice in will cause my amp to feed back the amplified signal to the EZQ via this dang harness creating a loop. I can fix this no problem with a few cuts, but their instructions say DO NOT CUT. Figured I'd ask the community.

Started 2 service chats with ********* now and as soon as I ask they stop replying. So basically, ********* if you're listening, I hope you catch your tiny sack in the zipper of your skinny-jeans. Flakes.

I'm on my first ever stereo build, so there's that. But I turned wrench for years and have a solid electrical background.

Any help from the community appreciated.

I was getting some engine noise so I ran a better ground from the EZQ.

I ended up cutting the ezq wiring to make it work. It works fine. But now some light hissing on all types, engine on or off. So I'm thinking a grounding issue, or maybe RCA pickup. Haven't dug in yet.

Some equipment is just noisy and there's nothing you can do about it. I know TT rebrands BOSS equipment - possibly the source of the noise. I wish I could say I'm surprised, but looks like TT strikes again.

Well, hissing found. It's the Entune HU itself. The system just amplified it to be annoying. I tried all combinations of Entune/TT/Amp. Hissing present to varying amounts in any configuration. Hooked up the factory everything and let my ears rest all night. First thing, turn on all as stock and I can hear it when I'm close to the speakers. Same sound. So I reconnect and can manipulate it via the TT input gain the best. So for now, I've dropped the input output gain and raised the amp gain to get a fair amount of power and a hiss I only hear with the engine off.
TL;DR. I tried it all and it's the HU making a noise that I am then amplifying. It was always present at an unnoticeable level.
