Any idea what this is?

Just purchased a new to me 2014 Tacoma sr5 4x4 and got too busy and carried away at the dealership asking other questions to ask what this thing was. Does anyone know what this is? Sorry if asked many times already, I dont even know where to begin to look in any forums. Seems aftermarket to me.

It looks like a dealer installed alarm system. I see a lot of cars come in my dealership with them.

Yup. Had the same thing on my old 2013 fusion that the Fiat dealership put in. Made me pay for it with some bullshit about "all the cars on the lot have them, you can't get the vehicle without it, deters theft, blahblahblah"

Won't hurt anything being on there.

lol thanks guys! Do you think it's worth spending the money to have the dealership turn it on or is it a cheap slice of comfort that I dont really need? The dealer would probably take weeks to get a transponder and connect it up
