OP, very impressive sir...i am looking to sell my 08 TRD sport with 6' bed...does anyone know if the dome and map lights are the same as the 05-11? And how about the configuration of the bed? Want to take my bed mat and led lights.

    Tnx for any info

As long as you are going to the same bed length the mat will work.

Yes, I'm alway up to date with Apple's iOS updates. Everything works except for the message and reading it out. I'm thinking the Eutune needs to be updated to the latest software.

That is exactly how my set up acts up. It only shows ignore. It will ask if you want to set up message again hit yes and it does nothing but if you toggle " show notification" then say yes to set up message it works. Until the next morning when you start your truck up again.

    A tangent,

So when I drive at highway speeds the ride gets....bouncy. I have the TRD 4x4 offroad DC longbed. Has anyone else experienced this? Or do I just need to break in the truck

all trucks do this with longer beds.. throw some sand bags in the back or go slower or faster than the speed it does it's bouncy thing.

Ahh okay thanks. This is my first truck so I'm a raw noob. Thankfully the bounce doesn't bother me at all

On my 2017 DCSBOR in settings on the entune head unit, there is a line for daytime running lights. It a check / no check box. Not sure what it's for? I don't have automatic lights except auto turn off. Any ideas to it's function?

I had to pop off my overhead cluster today. Headliner leaking (another story) I noticed the map lights twist out. Its only four clips holding the whole thing pops out easily. I have banana fingers so changing my map lights was a pain in the ass. popping this off will make it easy. The map lights are circled in red and the clips in blue. It just pulls off.

To start the truck without having your foot on the brake (useful for when a rider goes to the truck before you do and is sitting in the passenger seat) push the PTS button once and release, then push the PTS button and hold it till the truck starts (Approximately 10-13 seconds). This process was tested on a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road with an Automatic Transmission and still requires the smart key to be in the vehicle in order to start.

And when you get it working, at some point for no reason it will stop working. I found if I remove and add it again, it works.

Check your tire air pressure - once they get heated up and around 35 psi I notice the bouncing... I'm in a Limited...

In the Double Cab. Behind the rear seats, the cubby; fits 1 gal jugs perfectly.
Found out when I had to go to the store to get milk and tea from Publix.
