Hello all. I recently sold my work vehicle and my beloved 87 4runner turbo to buy a new-to-me Taco. I found one from a guy in the navy who got reassigned overseas so he was trying to sell it. So I became the proud 2nd owner of a 2014 access cab 4x4 with a manual tranny and a mere 26k miles. The first night I had it, I slept in the back and slept like a baby. I can tell we're going to get along great. Now onto my question...

I found a oem 4x4 badge for the tailgate on eBay (didn't have one when I bought it), so I got it she put it on. I measured and tried to get it even Steven with the Toyota Tacoma logo on the opposite side but alas, I installed it a little higher than I intended.

I know you can remove them with fishing line and such, but my question is does this process make the logo unusable after removal? Should I plan on buying another one or is there a way to salvage my existing one if I were to remove it?

    Thanks in advance and Cheers!

Welcome to TW, @flipthom, and congrats on your new-to-you Tacoma!

I agree with @jpereira2 - 3M Super Strength Molding Tape should meet your need.

Thanks guys, Super Strength Molding Tape acquired....now to get that thing off. Tried 4lb test fishing line, kept breaking. Going to go with 10lb and see if that works better. Might have to loosen it up with heat as well. I'll keep you posted.
