Roof Top Tent Group Buy

FSR has been around as long as the more known brands they just dont limit themselves to the overland community they sell most of their product to your average outdoor enthusiasts. I have seen everything from mini coopers and subarus to vans and overland rigs running FSR and we have quite a few friends that have them and love them. Their customer service is on another level as well.

Hey we wont have another group buy for a little bit but I asked them about the black and red and they said its currently out of stock at the moment. They get them back in june in canopy style.. If you can hold out they told me they would work with you.

Which one are you interested in?

I appreciate the response. I did not know that color was out of stock but it's not a big deal as I don't really need the tent until around then anyways. I would love to work with them and also probably add a matching annex room to the order as well.

 

Does anyone have a photo of the Adventure Series closed up? Just wanted to see how it was packaged for travel. I sent them a note as well.

I am very new to rooftop tents. I went to The Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg PA back in February. Freespirit Recreation was setup there and when I witnessed the Adventure Series I knew it was mine. Over the course of three years, I've checked out all the big names, and have been close to buying a few times. Well let me tell you, this tent by Freespirit is badass! It takes longer to take the cover off than it does to set the tent up. I have it rigged up so I can back in my barn and within 5 minutes it is off the cap of the truck. I had tons of questions after I left the show and they were prompt, courteous and as professional as any company that I have ever dealt with. Solid two thumbs up.

 

This is really good to know. I have been looking for the right tent for about 8 months. I keep coming back to the FreeSpirit Adventure Series and was curious to see it mounted with cover. I saw there had been a group buy last fall so assumed it would be awhile before that came up again. I won't be purchasing until later June. I may just make a road trip over to Bend to check these out in person. I don't know anyone who owns any of the FSR brand tents so I have been relying on forums for most reviews. The FSR Adventure series is still the most appealing to me after doing many, many hours of research. Thanks again for the picture and info. Great customer service makes all the difference so glad to hear thay have that going for them.

 

@Voodoo Steph I lost track of how many hours I had researching rtt's as well. @TorconTRD was at the show and had the Adventure series tent on his truck, which is awesome by the way. He allowed me to climb up in the tent to check it out, thoroughly go over it. Open it, close it. He and Dusty, the regional rep from Freespirit, were extremely professional. They got the sale because of this.

 

so is it safe to say that a possible group buy for these tents in the future?

 

I talked to them this last week before seeing this thread. He said there was no GB or sales currently planned, but they do have free shipping currently. I mentioned the CVT 20% off group buy and he said if I drive over he will knock off some money for the shipping and make it worth my while to buy FSR rather than CVT. Seem like great guys to work with.

Hi, any specials going for Freespirit RTTs?

 

I only have 4 nights in my extreme series but I'm happy with it. I was able to haggle a bit on pricing and was happy with their customer service during the whole process. FSR is quick to respond to emails, so if anybody is considering one drop them a line to see what you can work out without waiting for a group buy.

 

I'd be in on another group buy if we can get something together.
