    Guy's,

I normally take the family to Blue Ridge and camp at 3 forks but it sucks to drive all that way and all the spots are taken.

Any of you guy's have a spot your willing to share that is not crazy busy all the time and is close to water and not right on top of another spot.

    Thanks

There's 2-3 primitive campsites along Charlie's Creek trail near Clayton. I think 2 of them are by the water.

Tallulah River Rd. also has multiple USFS maintained campsites with 20+ spots each.

All of these are first come first serve and the USFS will charge a nightly fee ($12 maybe?) for the campsites along Tallulah River Rd.

Cooper creek area near Suches has a ton of primitive spots that are all along the water and great trout fishing. The last week in March is usually when they start releasing trout into the water too. I think there is a campground at one end of the forest road there too, but have never been. Not sure if you do primitive with the family or you need a campground. If you want to try it out, i have directions i can email you on how to get up there to some great spots. No cell service after you get about a mile into the woods on the forest road.
