This is how close I am to the San Andreas fault and why I feel so many quakes in my area

The small hill in the foreground is an uplift section of the San Andreas

Handed down to me from my late uncle. When the shooting stopped, his unit was in Cz. That's where the pistol and other items came from.

Sick day for me today and tomorrow.
Been fighting the creeping crud all week. Woke up this morning with 102 fever and some nice bronchitis.
Got some good meds that will hopefully give this crap the boot.
Drink lots of fluids and sleep. Yippie!

That's all the photos I'm willing to post... ;)

I recently picked it up and haven't been to the Fish & Game land to shoot the ol' gal yet. Need the snow to melt so I can get in there. The road crews for the town where the land is plows the snow down a single lane dirt road and blocks the gate with the pile.

Get better and take care of yourself. That crap is nothing to mess with and hope the meds kick it in the butt for you ASAP!

I was supposed to get my grandfathers guns when he passed long story but an Uncle came in and sold all but 2 of them while I was overseas. We are talking a lot of pistols and long guns many which held memories for me. The one that I still think about is his Luger, it wasn't a broomhandle but it was his. No idea where it is now.

On the bright side just hung up with my oldest son. He has been struggling with OCD (top 5% in the US) and never wanted to be around guns of any type. At almost 30 years old he asked if he could go shooting with me sometime. Life is good and there is hope yet.

I earned my pistol expert medal with the 45 also. And also picked up the expert rifle. Funny that they sit down at the last row on the ribbons always felt they should been higher. Had to qualify 3 years in a row and for the rifle used the M14 first 2 years. Third year was stuck using the M16, damn near didn't make it. Using the sling caused fliers all over the place WTF?! Took a few more practice shots to get the hang of it and shooting totally freehand. The 16 is a far cry from the 14's that we kept on board. Well the Marines did they refused to give them up until they were forced to. I know why...

Try shooting a M60 machine gun from an open door of a Huey UH-1while just barely above tree top level , now that's fun !!!!!

Yep. I didn't feel weird or anything. I was 117/72 a couple days ago and 107/70 when I came home. I usually run on the low side but that was weird. She should have double checked it.
