    Sword-wielding 'Joker' arrested;

    Winchester Police Department
    Jeremy Putman was arrested after callers reported seeing him carrying a sword while dressed as the Joker.

    WINCHESTER, Va. (AP) - Police in Virginia have arrested a man who was dressed as comic book villain the Joker and reportedly carrying a sword.


    Winchester Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Hall said in a news release that the department got several 911 calls Friday afternoon reporting a man made up as Batman's nemesis. He was wearing a cape and carrying a sword.

    Jeremy Putman, 31, has been charged with wearing a mask in public, a felony that can result in a year in jail.


    It wasn't immediately clear whether Putman has a lawyer.

    Gotcha:thumbsup: You're right plenty would claim that, also they'd probably wanna argue I'd be in the wrong for doing what I'd do about it.

    I think I probably worded it poorly to start.
    I just knew in my mind if I saw that guy like that coming anywhere close that I deemed a threat with that sword to me or anyone else for that matter, he'd be getting Huckleburied.

    It's sad to say you can't be thinking everybody's just "joking" these days, chances are that guy was really :crazy: to be doing that anyway, sure looked like it.

    Oh and a heads up for anyone planning on coming through Atlanta in the next few weeks... A section of I85 northbound has collapsed due to some sort of fire. Both directions closed, southbound until they get engineers out to make sure it's safe.

    Miraculously nobody was hurt as the fire dept closed the interstate during the fire.
