Exhaust Leak Wooshy Sound Under Load

    Posted this in the wrong forum yesterday so lets try again.

    I know this has been beaten to death, but my truck has the famous exhaust leak sound when the engine is under load in a high gear.

    One thing I recently noticed is that the sound is significantly reduced if you remove the intake hose going from the fender to the air filter.

    Has anyone who has installed an aftermarket intake noticed any change in this sound? I understand performance gains for installing an aftermarket intake are minimal, so I'm hesitant to drop a couple hundred bucks on one for it to make no difference at all.

    I had a vibrating sound with mine with a stock cai. when I put my trd one on the noise went away
