No not exclusive to 17 but unless they make it available for all trim levels, that color will definitely add some value later on down the road. That was a typo meant 2nd gen.

Nope:) don't care. I love love my turd gen overpriced and slow as hell truck, but damn it warms my soul everytime I see the dark beauty in the parking lot. And hell no i'm not scratching a 43k truck or any vehicle. I take pride in professional appearance, if I wanted to buy a vehicle to beat the shit out of I would have. And no i'm not scratching my raptor when I get one either.

    1st post....

Pro's are rad, wish I could afford one. Thing all the haters should really be asking themselves is (besides why are the haters in general) is what exactly would Toyota have to build and how cheap would it have to be to make you happy?

I think it's great that a car/truck company even put in time to make a super rad truck like the pro!

Dealers are selling them over msrp because they rule! Not because people are stupid.

of course you can build an incredible truck of your own from a base model, no argument there. Another reason Toyotas rule.

So what is the argument, that Toyota shouldn't try and push the envelope and develop pro models? That pro models should be cheaper?

Cant we just all hug it out bros? Leave the hate, be stoked when Toyota makes a sweet truck. Be stoked for people that buy them.

    kumbaya bros and stay positive!

Lol so much conflict over a vehicle. Just drive what makes you happy. I bought my pro for the color and the seats. I couldn't be happier with it. I am not a heavy off-roader by any mean but I'll eventually go hit some trails. As far as people continually talk about offroad capability. The way I feel about it is I don't expect Mitsubishi to come out with a 700whp evo.

Like all vehicles if you want something extreme out of it you will have to mod the shit out of it. I've seen a Lamborghini get rapped by a Honda before does that make the honda better? Will the lambo owner go out and buy a Honda? I don't think so.

They can keep the moonroof, but I would've liked the JBL.

Reminds me of pretty much any forum where a PC is involved.

OMG! WHY BUY COMPLETE YOU CAN BUILD ONE CHEAPER AND BETTER!!! *(it just takes time, tons of time, especially when you have to flash a brand new motherboard to work with a chip to talk to the other port that is currently set to read from a floppy disk but just stick a paperclip in the little hole because how can you be such an idiot, everyone knows that trick).

No, how about I play this little game called capitalism and vote with my dollars over what I want to buy and support the company that makes it. One reason that I make sure to buy a manual because it tells them to keep building them.

It is nice to live in an area that has a lot of dealerships so I do not have to deal with the ones that are jerks

Don't get why everyone has such a strong opinion about telling someone what they should and shouldn't spend their money on. Who cares how much the truck costs? If you like it and want it, then shop around and buy one when you find a price that makes sense to you. Some might find 45k to be worth it while others would scoff at that and say it's a rip off. At the end of the day, it's your money. You can spend it however you like regardless of someone else's opinion.
