Yes you will need to get another alignment. I had SPC UCA's and they worked well. Some alignment shops may be confused by the adjustable UCA. If I had to do it again I'd probably go JBA.

there all going to get you what you need for alignment. it just comes down to which one you want for the way you use your truck. the JBA seem to have the most articulation. Uni ball uca can get you good angles but aren't as durable as a ball joint for longevity. it all about budget and useage

I think he's asking if any UCAs can be installed without having to get an alignment.

OP, not getting an alignment is safe to drive but your tires will probably wear prematurely. Secondly, if your investing in aftermarket UCAs, it's typically because you CANT get proper alignment with your stock UCAs. So you would be hoping to get your alignment right with the new UCAs.

If your alignment is fine then i would say leave it.
if you want to get the strongest, TC or Camburg will fit the bill. I like to stay away from a ball joint as they like to fail and that sucks lol.

    Do you mean Uniball?

I'm new to all this as well and tend to get confused with the terms. Uniballs are not as protected from the elements as normal ball joints, right?

Myself, i would get uniball, have seen way way to many failed balljoints on the trail and road. only time i have seen a failed uniball was at a race. BUT, a ball joint will be better protected from the elements like you said.

    understood

I went with JBA since they are a normal ball joint. Easily replaceable (as I've read) and my truck goes off road on the beach, not trails so the protected joint was a must. Uniballs do look REALLY nice though.
