That's why I love Bucks County. There's a home in my area that was part of the Underground Railroad! History here is amazing.
I'm also only 45 min from Valley Forge - awesome park.
The views & wildlife aren't quite as good as what you've got though Weesa.

 

When I was a kid I begged my father to go out arrowhead hunting. I was out all day searching a field, my dad walks out about twenty yard picks up a big clump of dirt and it turns out to be a full tomahawk stone. Family heirloom and story still sits on his desk to this day.

 

Back in 1981 I found a Litter " rescue" basket along the June lake loop trail near Thousand island lake in the central Sierra mtn near Mammoth mtn

 

Yeah - Old City Philly has some very cool sights but it's way too crowded. I prefer digging aroung in the Burbs.

 

I've got a few spots I could take you... Old farms dating back to the 1700's.
They are all over the place here.

 

Plus Nicholas Cage already got the good stuff there..

 

My Tacoma just made her way to rural S. Ill to find a great oak tree to hang a deer stand on. Had her in mud up to mid tire. The lady at the carwash shot me some real dirty looks..

Possibly one of the coolest day trips in Bucks County is the covered bridge tour.
Start to finish it's about 100 miles and you get to see some really pretty countryside With the history. Link:

Overall, I did find lots of old agricultural tools and equipment on what used to be farms but had reverted back to forest since long ago, old logging camps (from the time they did it with horses). I do remember that when I was a kid, with my father, we did stumble on an old crashed plane. I went back a few years ago but it was gone. It seems the metal was salvaged, because there was a logging trail nearby that wasn't there the first time.

Also, weird stuff, marijuana plants, in the middle of nowhere in the wilderness. They were grown into garden soil bags. I was like lol WTF

This spring, I did find discarded japanese car parts, that I used to repair my taco with XD

oh and two months ago I did find a fluffy white kitten. It was 5 weeks old max and was weighting 1 pound. It was healthy but deaf, so I guess it is why it was left to die in the woods. It was not a feral cat because it came to me as I approached it, otherwise it would have ran away. Anyway, nursed it and gave it to a friend (I already have a cat) and he is very well and happy now

 

Cherokee national Forest. This was a marked cemetery, but it was out in the middle of nowhere, most were young children from late 1800s to early 1900s.

 

Always walking my dogs in the woods up in western MA. Have seen some pretty cool stuff. Old farm equipment, old barns , mainly just the foundations left but everything still left inside. Stone Bridges over streams, odd stone walls that take a like turns , and make extremely confusing direction changes. I'm guessing either for water retention or animal penning. Just yesterday I found an old farm dump. Old red wagon . Not much left to it. A lot of 2 gal oil cans. A dutch boy linseed oil can circa 1912. Old cars. Learned my lesson getting in one last spring. I came out with maybe 100 ticks on me. But I'm gonna find some of the old pics of a lot of that stuff n I'll post them.

 

prob some old bottles if you can find their dump site. I found and old dump site and it had numerous unbroken bottles in it, neat old broken porcelain pieces etc.
