    Eric man, I hate to be the one that bursts your bubble every time, but the US will likely never see the hilux. The Tacoma might get a diesel, but it would be in the FAR future.

    GM has the diesel midsized pickups and when Ford brings in their Ranger again, I'm sure they'll be there right next to GM competing. Toyotas gotten a bad start with their 3rd gen Tacoma and they'll have a late start into the diesel market. It sucks but it's true.

    True. Tundra is getting a diesel first for the next gen. Turbo 6 possible too. But no Hilux in the US as long as both the Tundra and Tacoma exist.
