Completed the Anytime Fog Light mod. Couldn't sleep because the dogs woke me up, so I went out into the garage at 3:30am and did it.

Since where I live (Virginia) is really anal about such things, I'm going to buy another fog light relay and keep it in one of the unused relay sockets. That way when State Inspection time comes all I need to do is a quick switcheroo of relays, pass inspection, and then switch it back.

Not sure yet - after buying rigids for the back, decided to try my luck with the cheapo from Amazon. It has a 2 year warranty, and I siliconed all around it, so we'll see how it holds up. Output seems okay from other peoples' pics, but I'm still waiting for the switch to come in for it.

There are PLENTY of inspection places that barely look at your vehicle when you bring it in. I've found that nearly any one owned by a Korean is this way.

No projects lined up yet..... Thinking about going out and fixing that bent Tacoma tailgate... any advice?
It really is much worse that it looks in the picture.

That's why I haven't been back to the local Toyota stealership in years, despite the "free" inspections I get. A lot of places won't call you on it, but they will. Plus they always find something else that needs to be "fixed."

Yep, I went there once and they made me get covers for my Rigid Duallys. I know they are supposed to be covered anyway when on the road, but the dealership was the only place to fail me for it.

Yeah. My Corolla tuner (that's it in the bottom pic) is illegal as hell. It takes me 1/2 a day to get it "Inspection Ready."

My father has a 2016 Access Cab with the 4 banger in it, my 2015 Access Cab has the 4.0. The thing that I like the least is the 6 speed automatic transmission. The 2016 is constantly changing gears trying to maximize the MPG'S, (my guess). I live in the mountains so it's constantly shifting, it's probably not as bad for someone who lives out west where it's flatter. Just my $.02.

Discount tire keeps having insane rebates going on. I got the tires for right around $400, and the wheels were $368 or something like that including gorilla lugs, mount, balance, and TPMS rebuild. I am a happy man!

Credit to my fishing buddy for his photo from this morning. A little sunrise action off the coast of VA.

It's about time for puppy drum, I believe they are called redfish further south. Juvenile Red Drum run with a mix of stripers and black drum should start soon.
