    Let me explain for you youngsters... back in the day before mini pocket sized computers (my first cell phone came in a bag with a shoulder strap) and GPS, one would have to insert coins into these now endangered items. If you didn't have the number memorized, there was a thick yellow book you had to flip through to find the number (as long as some asshole didn't already tear out the page you needed), and if it was long distance you had better have a pocket full of quarters.

    There were ways to avoid having to spend money at these relics, but that would've been illegal and I know nothing of that.
