my friend's dad passed away the same way in october. used to teach calculus at silvercreek, but since he retired 3 years ago he never did anything except sit at home. his first heart attack was one weekend, the second was on the next. he definitely was a character and with his wife sent all three of his kids to college. it's too bad he never saw his first grandchild.

but i guess that's life. with all the relatives, all the friends, and all the folks touched by his life, we all drank henny, macallan, dahlwhinnie, nikka, suntory, hakashu, balvenie all night to celebrate his life.

imma drinking a shot to uncle bob.

They typically manage fires in the wilderness not so much "fight" it.

Just got done cutting @Lee_533 bed sides for his relentless high clearance. Little different than the 2nd gens but still turned out good.

Can't believe people actually wait in line at the drive thru coffee place just to watch a girl in lingerie make their coffee/drinks.

BTW, is anyone an RC hobbyist? I have these batteries and charger free to anyone who can make use of them. The two Orion ones are pretty old so I'm not sure how much a charge they keep anymore, but the 7 cell has had very little use.

Does anything even use Ni-MH anymore? I figured lithium would've taken over by now.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Next time let's get a pic or video of how they make the smoothie. Purely for scientific purposes.

Having a 2-year old and some patience at the parts counter has paid off for me three times now. The counter is always busy. When we're first in line but still have a long wait little dude and I just hang out til our turn. At Oakland, Fremont, and today Hayward I've gotten parts at cost when they're (finally) ready to help us.

Picked up an outer TRE today cuz I split the boot and now it's grease bukakke everywhere. Gonna reboot that one and keep as spare. Need some inners for trail spares too. Where do you guys go for online OEM parts? I dont need em super soon, so I'll find the best price I can... I know camelback is a vendor, anyone else worth looking at?
