Spring is here and its time to start planning sound improvements. Planning a semi major overhaul to my system which includes full-up proper sound deadening and door sealing, proper door speaker brackets and FAST rings, and also front speaker upgrade. 2nd phase will be re-doing the sub box, and possibly an Epicenter (which also serves as a line driver) upgrade.

So for speakers, has anyone here been using the CT Sounds Strato speakers? These appear to be very beefy components for $150...although the crossover appears to be somewhat basic. I haven't been able to find any objective reviews...aside from the type of customer reviews where the reviewer is super happy to have improved car audio and therefore 'these are awesome speakers' type reviews. I believe this is one of the younger, alternative car audio brands like Hybrid and Sundown...so there really isn't much information on them, and marketing is rather limited. Any feedback or suggestions on these speakers or a different speaker brand would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has any before & after comments on using generic speaker brackets, then upgrading to 'good' brackets like ********* or Mr. Marv's brackets + using FAST rings, that also would be appreciated. My woofer's do sound like they are buried in the door...

I'm currently still using and would be upgrading from a set of Infiniti Kappa 60.2cs components, which are still perfectly good when pushed with 100w each....but I would like more midbass response and even better sound clarity.
