Optima Batterys

so what should i use for my dual battery set up The red one or the yellow one. i dont plan on hooking up anything extreme maybe some extra lights an amp and maybe an air compressor. thanks

 

Deep cycle yellow for sure. I have a 16 year old one that won't die! seriously.

If you go with a yellow top....You shouldn't need two batteries.

Buy one...and see how things go - depending on your Amp/usage or whatever. You might not need two batteries.

Our jeep had a yellow top for years. It worked great and including a lot of winch usage. I left my lights on one time and the battery went dead...but we hooked it up to a charger and never missed a beat for a year after that when we sold the jeep.

 

Hey the places I have founf the yellow top optima online all say to not use them with the towing package. Does anyone know why or know if it is safe to use with the towing package?
