Thanks. I'm new to the Tacoma scene and not familiar with the terminology...what exactly does "chop the exhaust mean?" Any ideas for a shorter antenna?

I just got a generic antenna of Amazon, its only like 14"

And for the exhaust, I had a shop cut mine just before the last hangar and they welded on a turn down tip and welded the hangar back on.

That way it doesnt rattle around.

I personally just think it looks cleaner without the pipe dangling out the side

    Just my opinion tho!!!

    WELCOME!!!!!!!!!

No problem man!! You can also pop the ball off the antenna and cut it down to your liking and stick it back on (for the most inexpensive mod ever lol)

BUT HEY!!!! Dont let me tell you what to do with your truck bro!!

Sometimes I just blurt out stuff lmao

That's very nice. Does it blow very much dust up on your truck?

I have not noticed any at all.

It kinda points at an angle away from the truck.

THAT being said, I pretty much stay on pavement lol.

Some people will also say that this is not a good idea as gases can get trapped under the vehicle and increase the chance of getting into the cab.

    Just an FYI.

I don't think it would cause an issue either. Just relaying other opinions so the fella can make his own decision. I saw how much you twisted his arm about the antennae

My exhaust mod was way easier:

Step 1: go to the desert with a locked Yeep armored up on 37's
Step 2: follow him down a waist high sandstone waterfall
Step 3: exhaust tucked up behind your newly re-formed quarter panel

I like my antenna up high, gives me notice when I'm going into a parking structure to slow the F down. New spindles & King coils next month should give that antenna tip a good thrashing.
