Relentless front and rear bumpers, Warn M-8000S Winch, Relentless RockSliders, bigger tires, bed cover RTT ... and more big changes in the works.
While reading an article on the use of bow shackles there was a picture, and text, that said put spacers on the pin to keep the load centered on the pin. I have never heard of this or seen it done.

    Is anyone doing this?
What gear are people using to do this?

We do for large loads at work. Mostly for lifts over 100k pounds but some smaller lifts with the top shackle centering or spacing pennants. Shackles used for rigging will have a standard rating and a side load rating. The side load rating is a lot less than standard loading. The shackles sold by ARB, smittybilt, ect probably have the same side loading info but its not commonly found.

Ive honestly never worried about it to much for vehicle recovery. Mostly since the angle you get is what you get. Plus as you put tension on things you can work to center shackles as weight is applied.
