Did the shop that fixed my truck cheap out on certain things?

A police report pretty much says that an officer went out looked at it and says Yep it was broken into. Unless they have evidence or something to prove who might have to pay for damage, insurance companies don't care as much anymore from my experience. I would bring it to either another body shop or a stereo shop to see if that might be an alarm install

 

So wasn't able to get it in yet to have a look, will get it in tomorrow for sure, but thought I would ask if this is the installed alarm or something else entirely, this is what got me looking behind the panel in the first place.

 

Yeah, that looks like some sort of crappy alarm system. Do you have any better pictures? Like what the front shows? If you follow the wires coming out of the rear, do they trace up into the rats nest of splicing?
