2wd Auto Tranny V6 X- member & solid mount

    Any difference between that and the 4x4 cross member?

    excuse the ignorance, but why would one want to solid mount the motor and or trans to the frame?

    Either way BEAUTIFUL work there

    If you inspect closely, it does have a pair of bushings. Just a more rigid mounting setup than OEM, as well as higher durometer bushings than OEM.

    When used in conjunction with their stiffer engine mounts, you have a lot of articulation of the engine and transmission. More power to the wheels.

    Reduces torsional stresses on the trans when used after the engine mounts, as well.

    Less drivetrain flex. More power to the tires. Frame damage, among other things is virtually eliminated. The factory motor mounts (and tranny mount) WILL break on you during heavy offroading.

    The 2wd and 4wd crossmembers and mounts are totally different. Still looking for a donor 4wd crossmember and mount.
