o_O I didn't explain that very well. It's so thin that I can't separate it from the wire cover. It just shreds and leaves me with minimal strands.

Gotcha, are you using strippers or a razor blade? If your strippers don't go small enough, a steady hand and a razor blade might help. Or, use your teeth

Something similar happened to this noise machine I have. I was able to barely get enough wire exposed, and used this to fix it. Still works like a charm. https://notaglue.com/

Today I installed a Pioneer AVH-4201 with the iDatalink Maestro interface. I'm really liking the gauge screen and the TPMS display.

I also cut out the back side of the passenger storage bin behind the back seat.

I'm going to build a sub enclosure back there. It will look similar to the JL Stealthbox but instead of two 10W1 woofers I'll be using two 10TW3-D4 woofers.

Yeah tried the razor blade trick to no avail. Thanks though!

No problem! That stuff is super cool. I use it sometimes when I don't feel like soldering.... :anonymous:

Try a lighter to melt plastic away then use your nails to scrape it away. Trick I've done in the past

Not yet, I'm still on the "hoarding" of lift parts stage.

My new Ubolts and Center pins came in today. I'm hoping I can have all this on in 2 weeks.
