Can someone tell me the difference between a 3 in lift kit and a leveling kit 3 in front 1 in back? Is one higher than the other?

Both are practically the same price. The leveling kit needs alignment and the lift kit doesnt. So it comes out about the same.

    They both require an alignment.

"level" generally means a coil spacer up front and blocks in the back

"lift" may entail new shocks/coils up front and leaf springs in the back

So would the back height be the only difference?

More than likely just the front - "level" it out with the rear

It's like when an apple gets mixed with a crayon and everybody thinks that makes it a potato. :notsure:
