    Hey all. I got some new toys, finally got a chance to use them this afternoon.

    Ingredients:
    Honda GCV160 OHC gas powered pressure washer putting out a screaming 2600psi. Got her on sale, $250 off.
    canvas.png
    Chenille premium wash pad (soapy, sloppy, fantastic job and no scratches! Brushes, pfft.)

    Don't forget the wheels

    Throw in some good quality suds;

    End product? The most lustrous, shiny, sexual finish I've seen on my truck since she rolled off the lot with 3km on her. No more paying $8 for a crappy wand-wash with sub-par results.

    Anyone else use their own pressure washer and wash gear? I'm never going back :)

    I've always been scared that I'd be that idiot who turns up the PSI to high and blows stuff off the truck :facepalm:

    I find it does. The first go I had with it, I didn't use agitation. I was hoping the psi and the good quality soap would take that film that stays behind. I worked at a detail shop for awhile, the boss always said "Cleaning a car without agitation is a fallacy." It's true. While it did a fantastic job on its own, a quick rub with the chenille pad took that cruddy film off effortlessly, leaving that shiny, waxed look.
    I will give that a shot next time for the bucket wash part. I just used the pressure-washer rated simple green in the bucket too, worked fine.

    Brown grime ran down the wheels while letting the simple green soak. A little agitation with the chenille tire brush polished them up real quick. Spotless 18's.:yes:
