I just went with the 5100's. Cheap, lifetime warr, decent quality.

I called 4wheelparts when I did my lift and they said they had a 0-1" shock and a 1-2". I did a 1.5 block and the shocks working good

I have a 2" spacer in the rear. I just bought the Tyotech shock extenders for $15. They are working fine and got rid of the clunk.

I haven't noticed this mysterious axle wrap everyone speaks of, I have 2" block and load and pull with my truck all the time. All we have done growing up was 2" blocks never had any issues but i run sumosprings

Ok guys installed my shocks and it seems the drivers side is rubbing the sock body. What would be the best thing to do for the fix. The other side is 1/2" away this one is about 1/8" and rubs maybe on the down stroke? IDK I don't see anything bent.

What brand is that? I installed 3/1 procomp lift on a tundra at work the other day and it's the worst lift I've see in my life. I'll take pics on Monday

it's an ES9000 shock but I don't understand why it's that close while the other side is fine. Think I'll just grind that tab down

Same here, Thinking about getting the carrier bearing drop just to help out that joint too. It's like 20 bucks. Still trying to figure out wheels and tires, that's the hardest part lol. Over all I'm happy with the way it turned out. That ECGS bushing was the best upgrade so far.

Recently, a member here noted that axle wrap wasn't invented until the Tacoma was produced. :notsure:

Lol! Whilst not true, I do believe the Tacoma has perhaps perfected it.

Ehhh give it some time they start to ride like shit after awhile. I have them on the rear and they suck. But doing a shock relocate soon so those pro comps r gonna be thrown out.

Although they are better than stock
