Have searched the forums and bumped a couple threads to no avail

I'm planning on taking my bike and my dads bike KTM 450 & 500 riding this weekend

I have a stock DCSB and can figure out that clearly the tailgate will be down

Will the stock hooks hold the weight?

Ive seen stuff about "bed flex" and the stock rings will not hold the weight

Just don't want the bikes breaking loose and causing scratches/damage

    Thanks

Done it plenty of times. No issues. Turn bars inwards and wedge wheels between tire we'll and back of bed. Use d-rings.

I know that "If there are no pictures, it didn't happen", but I used to take 3 full sized bikes in my '05 DCSB all the time. I just built a small box to offset the middle bike so the handlebars don't hit. 2 bikes in a DCSB is no problem.

Its easier with my 2016 LongBed, which is why I got the DCLB.

Didn't get the long bed but looking at the shortbed and the 2 dual sport bikes in the garage I just wanted some input

    Thanks for the input guys

I saw the plates and figured 501s, We have a 3 bike trailer my dad usually tows and he says its finally my turn to drive now that I have the new ride

Raced desert for 7 years until a bad spill and fractured wrist so I took up dual sport with my dad

I picked up a 04' 450exc Cali plated and we ride pretty often

This was LA Barstow to Vegas 2016
