How far did you turn the steering wheel? As long as you did not turn it more than 2.5 turns from center, you should be ok.

Regardless, its not a hard fix. The clock spring is under the steering wheel. Once the wheel is removed, its right there in the middle of the column.

Yeah I'll need to replace it I tried lining the wheel up with the rack when I should have done it the other way around

Do the inside of the frane with eastwood internal frame, took me awhile to water pressure, dry then air pressure then paint, i ordered 3 cans they did ok but If I will have to do it again, then next time i will order 5 or 6 to apply a more generous coat.

There is a set of deavers (J59's) for sale near me that I can get for $350 with only a couple thousand miles on them. I know as is with the tool box, tube bumper, jerry cans, and 35" spare the deavers don't stand a chance, but was contemplating putting a chevy spring in them to assist with the weight. But at that point I am spending the same amount as dakars go for brand new. I think those are going to be the route I end up going since I have no need for an all pro expo pack I feel. Been mulling this shit over for quite some time now.

Word. Impact helps a great bit on that staked nut.

So I finally ran out of windshield washer fluid (nothing comes out and I can hear the pump whining), but the low washer fluid level warning light never turned on.

    Is the sensor broken?

EDIT: Well after some investigation, the RainX fluid I was using damages the fluid level sensor. There's a class action lawsuit against RainX since they are refusing to acknowledge that their fluid damages vehicles.

EDIT 2: Okay maybe I'm really dumb, but does the Tacoma even have a sensor light? I could have sworn the dash has a low washer fluid light.

My 95 did not have sensor and of course no light. When the original washer fluid reservoir shattered I bought oem new one just to find out that it has a big round hole at the bottom. Parts guy told me that my original without the sensor is not available anymore, so I have to buy a sensor (even I don't have any wires to connect it to) just to plug a hole. I was cheap, and I used a round plug instead.

So I guess all newer models have washer fluid level sensor and light, my 1st gen was cheap, no sensor, not light. Heck, I don't even have a low fuel warning light. My only warning is see the needle goes near E.

I didn't realize my dashboard had a lot of warning lights... until I shone a bright flashlight at it.

It has the low fuel warning light, low washer fluid light (I think), and even the ABS light (even though my truck did not come with an ABS system). It even has the cutout in the center for the 4WD system.

It probably has more, it's just hard to see them.

Toyota just used the same cluster for everything and only added lights and wiring if you had them.

land crusiers i think all have an OEM front diff locker light..but most don't have that option from the factory so people wire it up and it looks OEM.....i think its LCs...can't remember where i saw that.
