Well, it finally happened. Last night I sacked up and spent the money on a set of NIB Icon coil overs for my 2014 RC 5 lugger.
I'll start the hunt for a set of TC UCAs over the next few weeks.
I initially bought the truck with it's sole purpose of being a commuter/work truck. I wasn't going to build it, I really didn't want to off road it. I just needed a nice little commuter truck.
I have a built 94 FZJ80 for all of my off roading and desert exploring needs.
But the bug bit. The suspension on the 5 lug sucks, to say the least. And for the price of quality shocks and spacers to fit appropriate tires, I figured I might as well go full ham and just build a mall runner. The price was more than good and at least it will ride well while I'm flexing on parking lot features.
Looking forward to sharing the build with you guys in the year(s) to come!

I get back from TAD at the end of the week, and should have at least the the c/o's around the same time.

$800 NIB. The guy was initially selling the TC UCAs and the C/Os as a package, but split them up before I could get the whole deal.
All in all I'm fairly happy for a set of new Icons.

I think I know where you bought these from. :spy:

He sold the UCA a week after I sent him PMs inquiring about buying both UCA and coil overs. I'm in the hunt for some UCA too.

Meh. It can be hit or miss. I've found that most the parts are cross posted in here or TTORA.
It's mostly a hold over from my days as a dezert bro.
