4" suspension lift for 2017 TRD

Anyone ever use Les Schwab for a 4" suspension lift on their Tacoma?

 

good luck with that.

 

les schwab will charge you 100 dollars per lug nut screwed on.

 

Not a good resource I'm assuming...

Didn't know they installed lifts. Find a reputable off-road shop, buy a kit from them or source one yourself (lots of good vendors on here), have the shop install it, or install it yourself if you have the know how.

 

it's just not their thing i'd look in the regional forums for a reputable shop to get the kit and install for you.

Les who??? Why are you even asking this question? Keep looking and do a search here... there's a shit ton of lift info.... none about Les... that should be a sign right there.

If you're 4x4, you're limited to a drop bracket style lift to get 4". This requires cutting out part of the frame and welding the lift bracket in place. I would only trust someone with a lot of experience to do this.

 

I installed a 2.5 leveling lift kit from Les Schwab before. It was an okay, but it was to stiff riding. They will only install kits that they sell, like rough country.
I wouldnt recommend it.

 

It was probably a block and/or spacer "leveling kit"

I removes the leveling kit and installed OME BP-51. Way better set up now.

 

Pretty far on either spectrum of price lol, but that's sweet .

 

You guys have some awesome advice to work with. Steering clear of Schwab.
Leaning towards OME 3" lift.
