What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

A lot of the AVH and certainly AVIC models have the iDataLink connector. You certainly can clean up things with it. I certainly could use less wires in my truck however I cut all of my wires, staggered the lengths and wrapped new looms around them. It looks like my truck was originally wired for a Pioneer deck since I removed all the Toyota associated plugs. No going back on this one.

Quick simple question I know this has been talked about over and over but here goes , what plugs do I need to go with for the 09 trd off-road? Wanna do a quick tune before the weekend, do the plugs need to be duel electrodes? or will the 6 denso (

$9 90919-01235 Toyota Genuine Spark Plug

90919-01235) work that appear to be single electrode? I appreciate the opinions of the locals on what have ya done!

 

So i think i posted a pic earlier of this mount i made for my mactrax. Here's a few, back from powder coating. I just used the maxtrax pins, some flat stock frome lowes and stainless hardware. Did all the cutting and drilling at my buddy matt's house(thanks agsin homie ).

Had some trd stickers I bought for my 4runner. Put them on the wife's tacoma. She hates them. Lol.

 

Which handle is that and where did you get it? Never seen a camera and lock together.

 

My 4wd selector knob -


The protrusion on the back side on the knob does nothing on mine. Im able to flip flop a stock HVAC knob on the 4wd selector and itll activate 4L no problem as well. Hell, I can put it in 4L without a knob just by twisting the post on the selector.

 

That is so weird because I cannot. Doesn't matter now, I got my lighted black REVO knob from Thailand finally and you cannot even remove the knob.

 

It came with the truck, just had a blank for the camera hole. It's made by Pop and Lock.

My particular one is keyed to the truck's ignition key which is nice. It's soon time for paint work. Got to get those scratches out.

 

That thing's awesome. Does it work with the steering wheel controls?
