2013 radio issue

Started my truck the other morning and radio was like this. Screen went back to normal after a few minutes. The rest of the day it was fine. Started it the next day and did the same thing. Anyone else have this problem?

Tacoma's mine has the same problem and I have no solution at the moment.

 

Shot in the dark: have you upgraded the firmware recently?

 

No just used it like normal. Don't see anywhere to update or upgrade. Actually swapped it out with a 2015 head unit today.

 

Could I ask what 2015 head unit you swapped it out with? I'm not a fan of my '13's factory unit. It has Bluetooth but that's it and the Bluetooth connection is poor and loses connection frequently.

 

I caught a deal on a 15 with bluetooth non nav. Basically the same radio just newer
