    2000 Tacoma
    In process of replacing Rear Output Shaft Seal at the back of the transmission as it goes into driveline.

    2000 Tacoma 2.7L 4x4 210,xxx


    MY QUESTION -

    I have installed new seal, but I am worried it is too deep into the housing. It is roughly 2-3mm past the end of the bevel of the surface that it presses into. Is this too deep or is this OK?
