Guess I'll make a build thread to keep a little history of my truck as the parts add up. This is my first Tacoma coming from many s10s and a Ford ranger. Really all great trucks but the yota is definitely the best yet. Anyway here is the truck when I first got it with 135k miles on it. I began searching Craigslist for some parts that would add to the Truck. I was able to find pretty mucheap new fox 2.0 coils and rear piggy back shocks for a total of $450. Score! The gentlemen who sold them to me us a member of tw and will try to find kut who it was. I continued to search cl and found a killer deal on camburg uca. They needed new uniballs so for $300 I had practically new ucas! I also found a good deal on the tired locally. They are 265/70 Trail Cutter At tires. Honestly I like the tires a lot. Ot too noisey and for the price I couldn't beat the deal. So far I have under a grand into my build and am stoked at how it turned out. Only thing I purchased new for it was a 1" rear block for the time being.

Rear bumper was getting really rusty, so picked one up off Craigslist for cheap. It was an oem chrome one so sone prep work was needed to paint in black. Used 180 grit paper to scuff it down. I have had good luck with the Rustoleum truck bed coating, duplicator clear textured truck bed coating, then applying Rustileum gloss clear. Here are some pics. Will get more once I put it on

Went to CT today for a rerentless fab full skid plate praticaly new for $200, and he wanted to trade my stock grill for a Satoshi grill he had. Grill was covered in white plastdip, pressure washed with goo gone and it came out really nice. Will have pics of the skid soon.
