Toyota VSA cancellation

For those of you who cancelled their VSA with Toyota, how long did it take them to put the money towards your loan?

I initially had Toyota Care and cancelled it. They sent me a check within 2 to 3 weeks. It did not go toward my loan. I financed with TFS initially to get rebates and then refinanced at a slightly better rate with my own Credit union. At the time I cancelled I was still financed with TFS. I was surprised when I got the check because I thought they were going to put it toward my loan as well but they did not. Toyota Care and the VSAs, to my knowledge, are all part of the same family so I do not think there will be any difference between the two on how they handle it.
