Can someone post a picture of the bottom of their dipstick when they get a chance? Mine has a weird knick in it---not sure if its supposed to be like that but will bring it up to Toyota at 5k- it seems to have a little resistance when trying to insert it in the last few inch or 2 (thats what she said) as well.

Edit: I can post a picture of mine when I get home later this afternoon but the thought just occurred to me as I was reading another post on here so I figured I'd ask TW

Do you mean down towards the end where the oil level is or up towards the finger pull? I can try and run outside in about an hour and look but not sure if I will have time to do a pic right away.

Full disclosure - there was a thread last year posted by a member who had "challenges" removing his dipstick. While he eventually ended up getting himself banned, it brought out some of the best (and worst) of TW roasting.

On behalf of all the survivors of those threads, I thank you for being literate and using punctuation.

When I created this thread, I wasn't expecting it to go this way. You're welcome for the Wednesday morning humor turd genners.

So far shakerhood is the only one willing to post the end of his dipstick

Didn't notice anything out if the ordinary, just the Low and Full Dots. Was a little hard to get back in place but that is just to newness.

Sorry - locked down in the office, and can't escape until 1630. More than happy to check mine then.

And to be fair, I warned you that dipsticks were a "sticky" subject.

^It's all good fun as long as you don't find another man's dipstick in your truck.

What if you try another man's dipstick where your dipstick would normally go?
